How we collect, use, and protect information. Effective: 2026. This policy applies to tangentmedulla.com and any service reached through it.
We collect the minimum necessary information to operate our services and communicate with you. This document describes what, why, and how long.
What we collect
We collect two broad categories of information:
Information you provide — name, email, broker, account size range, and the content of any messages you send through our contact forms or email channels. If you become a subscriber, we also collect information necessary to deliver the service (billing details, broker API credential metadata, signal-delivery preferences, usage logs).
Information we collect automatically — standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamp), and, where you consent, analytics data. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Why we collect it
To respond to inquiries, provide the services you request, operate and secure our infrastructure, meet our legal and contractual obligations, and improve what we build. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with third parties except as strictly necessary to deliver the service or as required by law.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months. Subscriber data is retained for the duration of the relationship plus a statutory retention period as required by applicable law. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days in hot storage and may be archived for security investigations.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@tangentmedulla.com. We respond within 30 days.
Transfers & security
Our infrastructure may involve data transfers across jurisdictions. We use appropriate contractual and technical safeguards to protect information in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure; we disclose material incidents as required by law.
